Video: Sending a Phoenix

Digital EP with recordings from 2014-2016: "From the north":

  • Antje Rößeler dansk trio. Adrian Christensen (b), Frederik Emil Bülow (dr)

  • Trio fANTOSI Stockholm. Tom-Eddye Norden (b), Simon Andersson (dr)

  • Trio with Adrian Christensen (b), Daniel Sommer (dr)

  • LauAntai. Laura Schuler (violine), Antje Rößeler (piano)

Free improvisation reveals music from their deepest inner sources, when Laura and Antje play together. Different styles appear, then being mixed and formed to a statement in careful communication. Besides the language, which both musicians are studying in the „Nordic Master of Jazz“, it's often their early influences of classical music, that you can recognize. The appreciation and thankfulness for every moment is always very important to them.

  • Lost in the right forest. Sanna Ruohoniemi (voc) – Antje Rößeler (piano)

„Lost in the right forest – creating shapes with the gain of loss“.  The finnish singer Sanna Ruohoniemi's way of interpreting, writing, and improvising lyrics, combined with own compositions of the german jazzpiano player Antje Rößeler reflect the experiences, both musicians got through their „Nordic Master of Jazz“ studies in three different countries.

Two recordings from 2016! Please write to me (see "contact") , if you want to have the CD's.

  • Roetlese

CD from 2013, own compositions. Sebastian Braun (b) und Leon Griese (dr)

The music of „Roetlese“ has grown to a developed own world in three years of the trio playing together. Formerly based in Dresden (Germany) their music is mainly reflected in the compositions of Antje Rößeler. The poetic and often picturially touch in them is expanded well by pieces of Leon Griese, and completed with free improvisations, giving a different dynamic to every performance. In 2013, an EP was recorded.
